Yes, I've got them "always on" for now. I did in fact notice cold startup times of about 5-10 secs with Spring when this feature was disabled. Even with a plain Servlet/JSP approach I did get startup times that are "not good enough", so I decided to pay for the instances - I think the prices are reasonable.</description>
